BS32 joins Bunny Aid

Wild rabbitBradley Stoke residents have heeded the call from Bugs Geldof to help out the town’s starving bunny rabbit population.

News reached the Examiner newsdesk that one kind resident has been supplying carrots to a bunny family.

The daddy of the family, which lives on the roundabout on the junction of Winterbourne Road and Great Stoke, said he was “speechless” at the gesture.

The carrots (and, honest, this is true) were tossed into the middle of the busy roundabout on Saturday afternoon.

The family of rabbits were spotted by this reporter munching away at around 5pm on the veg treat.

“I’m so glad that Bradley Stoke residents have noticed our plight on Rabbit Roundabout and I hope they continue to feed us,” the Daddy rabbit continued.

The question remains, though, how did the carrots get into the middle of the busy roundabout? Thrown from a car window? Did someone walk across BS32’s busiest roundabout?

All that remains to be said now is: “Bright eyes … burning like fire …”
