October misery for motorists

Written by Chris (editor) on Thursday September 14th, 2006 at 11:00 am

The BBC reports that Gypsy Patch Lane is to shut for four weeks during October.

The closure of the popular route for Stokers to the A38 is bound to cause complete chaos in BS32.

GPL is one of a handful of routes into the city centre - many are now sure to head to Aztec West to reach the A38.

Of course, this will mean much of Bradley Stoke Way will end up clogged.

The work will see the road surface repaired, the leaking bridge fixed and a new roundabout with access to the northern section of the Rolls Royce site built.
