Supermarker Aldi, who have taken over Somerfield’s old store on Fern Dene, are planning a June opening, the Examiner can reveal.
A spokesman for the company told this website the firm is “delighted” to be coming to Bradley Stoke.
He said the alterations to the store’s frontage was about “getting it right”.
The Examiner exclusively revealed the store’s plans to create up to 18 jobs in the north of the town.
Planning documents lodged with South Gloucestershire Council also show Lloyd’s Pharmacy will have its own independent entrance away from the interior of Aldi.

Fantastic news for Bradley Stoke and one in the eye for the local Tesco monopoly! My parner and I currently have to drive to the Aldi at Southmead to get good value products. We are very much looking forward to the new store. Please keep us informed on progress !
