Bradley Stoke’s first business forum got off to a great start with 12 firms represented at the first meeting.
The event was organised after local councillor Nick Wood contacted this publication and local freesheet Bradley Stoke Matters.
The group even penned a mission statement which reads: “To help create prosperity for its members by providing business and networking opportunities both locally and nationally.
“In this way we hope to raise awareness of the advantages of Bradley Stoke as a place to work and reside, and to improve the economic structure of the town.”
A website is planned by the group who are planning guest speakers at future meetings.
The next forum is planned for Monday, 19 March at Pitman Training Centre in Pear Tree Lane at 6.30pm.
