The Evening Post is reporting that a Bradley Stoke mum has only just got her Mother’s Day card - and had to pay £1.05 for it.
The card for Elizabeth Clarke was posted in London by her daughter to arrive before the big day on March 18
But it didn’t arrive, and more than two weeks later, Mrs Clarke received a card saying the card was at the Patchway sorting office.
The Post Office told the Evening Post that it was likely the delay was down to not enough postage being put on the item and it having to be manually sorted.
