The Bradley Stoke Examiner, the town’s number one news & information website, is celebrating its first birthday.
And the site has also celebrated its most successful week with coverage of the Bradley Stoke Festival.
Hits for our coverage of the event registered at more than 40% higher than our previous peak in April 2007.
The past year has seen many exclusives for the website including stories which have gone on to feature in the local press.
Editor Chris Kelly said: “It’s been a great year for Bradley Stoke which has seen the website and the town grow up hand-in-hand.
“When the Examiner launched we were the only community website in the town and we’re pleased to have broken so many exclusives.
“The next year will see lots of changes in Bradley Stoke and we’ll be here to cover this new era for the town.”

Happy 1st birthday to you!
Well done Chris for such an informative, well put together website and for giving us, the residents of Bradley Stoke, an opportunity to air our views on any subject we feel relevant to our community.
Just imagine the impact if everyone in Bradley Stoke knew about the Examiner - perhaps the ladies at ‘Bradley Stoke Matters’ could do a piece about it in their next two issues so as to cover the entire town?
Congratulations again, and here’s to many more years of news coverage and exclusives!

Hi Louisa, Alison and Jaci at Matters have done us a few turns in the past including a front page when we launched.
I’d encourage word-of-mouth promotion so if you all tell your friends we’ll have lots more people here. Already thousands visit EVERY WEEK - we could up that number!
