A large quantity of cigarettes have been stolen in a raid on Tesco’s petrol station.
The robbery took place in the early hours of Wednesday at the Bradley Stoke store.
Police say the robbers may have been disturbed by cleaners arriving for their early shift.
During Wednesday, parts of the station were taped off and motorists were only allowed to pay by card at the pumps.
The men involved in the raid drove off in a white or grey hatchback car.
Police are appealing for anybody who saw the car to get in touch with them.
Bootnote: Sorry if updates have been late/thin on the ground this week. Unfortunately Examiner HQ is having problems with broadband which we hope to have resolved in the next few days.
