A man charged with the murder of his son in a hotel balcony fall has been told he must spend a further six months in jail awaiting trial, reports The Evening Post.
John Hogan, of Bradley Stoke, jumped over the balcony of a Greek hotel with his six-year-old son Liam and daughter Mia, then aged two, a year ago today.
Wheatfield Primary School pupil Liam died, Mia broke her arm and 33-year-old Hogan broke his leg and wrist in the 50ft fall from a fourth-floor balcony at the Petra Mare Hotel in Ierapetra, Crete.
Hogan, who ran a tiling business in Bristol, has been charged with the premeditated murder of his son and attempted murder of his daughter.
He has been in prison since his release from hospital.
