Gardening work ‘was not completed’

Written by Chris (editor) on Wednesday September 12th, 2007 at 11:09 am

Police have launched an investigation after a woman from Bradley Stoke was promised landscaping in a back garden for £4,000 - but never completed the work.

The Evening Post reports that Jill Mann, 61, paid the cash but was left with “rubble” where her garden once was.

The builders were apparently paid in three installments, put up a wall and fence, but never finish the gardening.

Tools left behind by the builders, including a cement mixer, have now been seized by police who are carrying out an inquiry.
