Rabbit Roundabout has been saved!
The Evening Post reports that the area was under threat as part of a plan to revamp the town’s roundabouts as part of the 20th anniversary.
But the junction, first coined Rabbit Roundabout by this publication more than a year ago, will not be touched.
The rabbits have been living on the junction of Winterbourne Road and Bradley Stoke Way for several years.
Residents, many of whom leave carrots and other food for the animals, had started a petition against the plans.
