A plan for two new detached houses off Arden Close is causing concern among residents.

A planning application has been lodged for the two new homes, along with two garages and parking spaces, on grassland in the cul-de-sac.

The application has been made by Mr & Mrs Bradford from neighbouring Stoke Giffford.

Four objections have already been lodged with comments ranging from worry over extra cars on a quiet road to loss of light.

One correspondent to the council also claimed the proposed layout would not be safe for turning traffic.

The consultation period with residents is due to last until the end of January. If you wish to comment to the council, the application number is: PT08/0087/F

Looks like it’s common land - so how can they build houses on there?

Yet another attack on what green spaces we’ve got left in Bradley Stoke and Stoke Gifford!

The price of “Progress” eh? :(
