Mobile food van, Papa’s Pizza, has moved following a fight over noise from a generator.

The pizzeria, which was based on Pear Tree Road, has now moved to the Eaglewood Business Park close to the RAC tower.
One of the owners, Kim Pablo, emailed the Examiner last month to tell us of the problems surrounding their previous plot.
She said: “We have collated over 750 signatures from our loyal customers – over 60 of them living within 100 metres of the Pear Tree site. only two complaints were received regarding the generator noise.
“We have applied for an alternative trading site which is unfortunately not as centralised as we have been, in Eaglewood business park, which is out of the way of passing trade.”
Kim went on to point out that Papa’s has been in Bradley Stoke since before Dominos and Pizza Hut.
So, if you were wondering where they have gone, now you know. Click here to see a map of their new location.

It’s a shame they had to move, but the new site is not much further and we’ve already been there and enjoyed one of Papa’s delicious pizza’s – much better tasting and better quality than Pizza hut!!
I can’t see why people complained, there is much more noise generated by the idiots who race down pear tree road every night.

What happened to the take-away that used to be in the Bailey’s Court cricket club car park?
Did they too get booted out by some do gooders.
The problem is it only needs a couple of people to complain about something and its gone. Never mind if they are in the minority.

They left during the extension when the car park was used as a building compound.
Apparently they have no desire to come back as they are trading well at a new site elsewhere in Bristol.

Indeed, the Chinese Food van which used to be at Baileys had to move on when the building work was taking place a year ago and they have settled elsewhere , but……….
Papas Pizza now trades from there on a Thursday and Friday evening.
I think he’s just been on holiday for the last couple of weeks but should be back soon as far as I know.
