Work on the new Bradley Stoke town centre is now well under way as a large crane joined in the action on Sunday.
The new centre will provide a new Tesco store and 15 other shop units in a two-storey development.
The site office has recently opened behind the Three Brooks Pub and, despite the wet weather, work to clear the site is on-going.
The development website still claims the centre is due to open in 2008 - although this seems unlikely following delays.
