More than a dozen Brazilians who were arrested during raids targeting illegal workers have been deported, the Border and Immigration Agency has confirmed.
Officers from the government department visited addresses in Bradley Stoke, Patchway and Southmead and detained seven men and six women.
The group has been working in the South Gloucestershire area as cleaners.
Jane Farleigh, from the Border and Immigration Agency, said: “This was a major operation carried out by my officers and shows that we regard cracking down on illegal working as a priority.”
