Meadowbrook Primary School gets improving report

Meadowbrook Primary School in Bradley Stoke has been rated as satisfactory by Ofsted government inspectors who said it was “improving rapidly”.

The new head teacher, Jon Barr, who joined in September last year, was praised for establishing a clear direction for the school.

Meadowbrook has also identified the need for a radical overhaul of the curriculum in order to motivate pupils.

Mr Barr said: “This inspection represents a considerable achievement. We know we are a rapidly improving school and this is supported by Ofsted’s judgement that we have a good capacity to continue improving.”
