A teenager is seriously ill in hospital after an assault on New Road, Stoke Gifford, on Friday.

The boy was found after police were called to reports of a group attacking several others at 11.15pm.

Two teens were taken to nearby Frenchay Hospital – a 15-year-old remains there with serious injuries.

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward.
