New walk-for-fitness club to launch in Bradley Stoke

Written by Chris (editor) on Sunday March 16th, 2008 at 1:55 pm

Local fitness walker Sara Goldhawk, who lost three stone through the activity, is organising a series of events in Bradley Stoke.

Sara, 44, completes fitness walks up to three times a week and wants to help other residents to get fit.

She hopes the club will combine the ideas of a slimming and fitness group and help people lose weight and tone their body.

“This new group has no age limit, no fitness limit, so whatever it says on your birth certificate or however unfit you are feeling, come and join us. We will get you fitter for Summer and fitter for Life,” Sara told The Bradley Stoke Examiner.

If you want to get involved there’s a free introductory meeting about the new class on Friday, 4 April at 1.15pm at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre.

Classes start on Friday, 25 April at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre at 1.15pm. Places limited to 35 per class so booking essential.

If you want more information then you can get in touch with Sara via her website.
