Bradley Stoke A Team beat Lawrence Rovers Reserves 1-0 in the final of the Jack Jenkins Memorial Trophy on Wednesday at Yate Town FC.
A goal by Callum Hopper in the first half secured a hard-fought victory.
Lawrence Rovers piled on the pressure after the break but found it difficult to break down Bradley Stoke’s solid back four.
BSTFC went into the game as underdogs but clearly went out on the pitch in determined fashion to bring home a trophy in their very first season.

that goal was amazing. Lawrence rovers did dominate the game but Bradley stoke held their cool when Lawrence rovers were piling on the pressure and some bad fouls from Lawrence rovers caused Bradley Stoke to be more determined to win. I did what to say about Luke Hembury, he played the match with a leg injury and still played until half an hour into the game when the injury caused too much pain. Well done Callum and Luke and the boys at Bradley Stoke.
