I am landlord to a village bowls club.
I had always imagined bowlers to be pleasant white clad people enjoying a gentle sport.
In fact they are the most militant people I have ever dealt with.
The story struck a chord with me as I also have had mini riots, destroyed padlocks, and a total refusal to obey the rules.
I just hope the US gun culture does not infect the
UK bowling scene.
