There were traffic queues on Tuesday after a car crashed into a lamppost on the junction of Bradley Stoke Way and Webbs Wood Road.

The incidents took place shortly after 4pm on the section of road near Winterbourne Road.

Nobody appeared to have been injured in the crash but several police cars were on the scene and officers were directing traffic around the collision.

South Gloucestershire Council workers were also on the scene to repair the damaged lamppost.
