Date set for new play equipment to be fitted in Rosemary Close

Work to install a new play area in Rosemary Close, Bradley Stoke, will get under way during the week starting September 1.

The new equipment, which will replace the previous developer-installed facility, will feature new swings, a see-saw and a racing car springer.

Bradley Stoke Town Council says it hopes kit at the playground, located off Webbs Wood Road in the south of the town, will “last for many more years”.

A full list of equipment, which should take two or three weeks to fit, is listed below.

  • All Steel Venturer Configuration Multiplay unit,  comprising: 2 No 1250mm high towers, complete with DDA stairs, Fireman’s Pole, Glacier Entry, Hand Over Hand Beam, Loop Climber, Ring Bridge, Under Deck Seat, Vertical Climber, Wheelchair Transfer Deck, and 1250mm high wide slide
  • Devil’s Island Swing which is like a basket and suits all ages and abilities
  • Dragonfly reclined See-Saw
  • Racing Car Springer
  • Elephant Springer which is suitable for less able bodied children
  • Post Office Play Panel for the youngests’ imaginative play
  • Plus new litter bin, bench, wet pour surfacing and two new gates.
