KFC, Costa Coffee, Nationwide Building Society, hairdressers Reflections and Carphone Warehouse have all confirmed they will open in the Willow Brook Centre.
The shops and facilities will open alongside Tesco Extra, in the centre of Bradley Stoke, in the first phase of the development later this year.
More than half of the new tenants were predicted by The Bradley Stoke Examiner earlier this year [KFC | Costa | Reflections]
The centre’s management added the new shops would open in October and that more tenants would be announced soon.
Willow Brook Centre manager Scott Lahive said: “This centre, anchored by a new large Tesco store, is designed to provide a range of goods and services which have previously been lacking in Bradley Stoke.
“The businesses that we have named today demonstrate that this is truly a town centre, designed to meet the shopping needs of local people.”
In addition, the centre’s new website appears to have launched – with the opening date listed of Monday, October 13 at 9am.
The website says: “The Centre will officially be opened at 9am on Monday 13th by a selection of people from Bradley Stoke who share the same birthday as the Centre.”
Sandwich store Subway is also listed on the Willow Brook Centre website but has yet to be officially confirmed by managers there.

Well spotted Matt – I hadn’t seen that when I flicked to their new site. It wasn’t listed in the official release so I guess (probably like the date) it isn’t confirmed. But – I’ll add it to the list.

[...] The Bradley Stoke Examiner noted in a report on Friday that sandwich chain Subway was also listed on the official website. However, by Sunday evening, the Subway logo (shown left, from the Google cache) had been removed. Mr Lahive confirmed to The Journal that negotiations have taken place with Subway, but he added that no contracts have been signed. [...]

Thought Greggs was coming too! They’re advertising in their Redfield store that they are opening in Bradley Stoke.

Greggs plan to open at the same time as Tesco in the Town centre units. It will be a traditional unit selling freshly baked savouries, freshly made sandwiches and of course our our range of fresh bread and cakes!
We are still looking for a number of staff including an assistant manager, part time people on a variety of contracts and weekend staff so if you want to join a great team call Joyce on 07764 315391.

Already a casualty with Nationwide closing. What ever happened to NEXT, whom for some time were the only NON FOOD outlet that was planned. Do we know if there are any other stores thinking of opening here at the Willowbrook centre?
