Man suffers from smoke inhalation after fire in town flat

A fire at a flat in Bradley Stoke in under investigation after it was left badly damaged in a blaze on Sunday afternoon.

Avon Fire and Rescue were called just after 2pm to the incident in a first-floor flat in Oaktree Crescent in Bradley Stoke.

A man in his 30s was given oxygen therapy after suffering from smoke inhalation. He also suffered singing to his hair but was not taken to hospital.

Two firefighters from Patchway, using breathing apparatus and a high-pressure hose, controlled the fire.
