Guys – much as this is an interesting debate can we please keep it on topic. The religious debate is quite far removed from the core topic so let’s park it before we end up in a huge row about that as well.

Tim, not sure what involvement you have had here but the police have been shown photos of what goes on here, indeed I was at a meeting where photos were shown to police regarding some of this filth and some of it was going on in the garden in full view of residents. I have seen them. This is factual information, the police did not act.

Curious comment, based not on your own observation(s) but seemingly second-hand information. Hearsay not usually being admissable, it is a strange thing to want to comment on. Should people be behaving unlawfully (and a variety of offences may be being commited should such allegations be true) then the Police should be informed to choose if they should spend their time (that Council Tax payers pay for) investigating. You also say:

Again, a curious statement. The Police are upholders of the law, and not your, or anyone else’s moral values.

Should you believe a crime to have been committed, you should report it. If you have no evidence, then where the very nature of a “comment” section on a publically accessible website allows us all to express an opinion, that is all it is, and you should perhaps acknowledge that.

On a separate note, if you are so outraged by the state of British society, you are most likely able to leave. Given you acknowledge a right to make our own choices in your second response, perhaps you should take your own advice?
