Birds of a Feather actress Pauline Quirke is to open a branch of her academy at Bradley Stoke Community School.
The facility will be the second in Bristol after a successful debut at the Red Maids’ School in Westbury-on-Trym.
The academy will open in Bradley Stoke in April under the guidance of teacher Trish Verey. Specialist tutors will also help out.
Pauline told the Bristol Evening Post: “I am so happy that so many kids are now getting involved with PQA in Bristol. Trish is one of our best teachers and I am delighted she can now run not one but two academies.”
Bradley Stoke Community School has a combined performing arts and language status.

I still haven’t worked out why BS gets bad press. Look at us “new estate in Long Ashton” – look what you can achieve! You really want to be like us with our fantastic facilities – go on, admit it! Bradley Stoke – perhaps future home to the “Eddie the Eagle Skiing Academy”, “Bradley Stoke Town Council Bowls Academy”, and the “Willow Brook Centre Architects Academy”.
