In my opinion Bradley Stoke remains one of the safest places in South Glous. I was brought up and lived in Kingswood for 38 years and if your looking for a place that has gone down hill, that is it. Having lived away up north for a couple of years, we chose BS over Stoke Gifford when we came back. I’m so glad we did as when I go to SG shops I have felt intimidated. Never have in BS.

I think crime levels have increased over the past year, but I still feel quite safe in Bradley Stoke compared to other areas of Bristol and South Gloucestershire I’ve lived in.

[...] Recent comments published in the Bradley Stoke Examiner suggest that the problem could be more widespread, with incidents also being reported in The Bluebells. [...]

The impression I get is that crime has increased in BS over recent years despite an increasing Police presence. I have wondered whether this is due to youths growing up in BS or part of a much larger issue (did anything similar happen in Yate?)

That said, I moved here from north Bristol where we were wedged between Lockleaze and Southmead… BS is great by comparison.
