Town meeting gives residents chance to quiz councillors

Residents of Bradley Stoke will have the opportunity to quiz councillors and representatives from other organisations at the annual town meeting.

The event is organised by the town council but is not a council meeting but a chance to raise issues, ask questions or comment on how the year has gone.

Mayor Robert Jones told The Bradley Stoke Examiner: “The annual meeting is an opportunity for residents to reflect on the past year and look forward to the year ahead.

“Councillors will be there to answer residents questions but I hope too that there will be representatives from many different groups in the town to share news from their organisations in the last year.”

The town meeting takes place on Wednesday, 13 May 2009 at the Jubilee Centre and is due to start at 7.30pm.
