Drivers caught speeding during crackdown in Bradley Stoke

Some forty motorists have been caught speeding on Woodlands Lane in Bradley Stoke during a recent crackdown.

The figure was revealed in the latest police newsletter from the town’s beat team.

Thirty of the motorists are being prosecuted while a further ten attended speed awareness courses.

The beat team are now looking for residents who are worried by speeding to set up a community speedwatch group.

    More worried about the speed bumps to be honest…if we set up a community group will they get rid of them?

    This just goes to show you cannot get out of Bradley Stoke fast enough.

    I’ve been pulled over twice in the last few weeks for driving normally along bradley stoke way quite late.

    Are our men in blue feeling bored? :)

    If this is really about road safety, perhaps looking more at improving the surface of woodlands would be more appropriate
