A 19-year-old man was arrested following a brawl in one of Bradley Stoke’s pubs which saw a man hospitalised.
The attack took place on Sunday, 24 May 2009 at the Three Brooks pub next to the Willow Brook Centre.
A 46-year-old man from the town was attacked and punched by two younger men between 10.30pm and 11.15pm.
Police say he suffered a serious injury to his eye and required hospital treatment.
Police want to hear from pub-goers who may have witnessed the incident and particularly from two females who were present when the attack took place.
Officers also want to trace the occupants of a small bronze coloured car that drove away from the pub immediately afterwards.
The male who was arrested following the incident is currently on police bail.

This story could be about, Friday night, or, last night! When we go to fill up with fuel late night, there is usually a bunch of, YEAH COME ON THEN’s fighting in the street, falling into the road, chasing each other across the roundabout, getting all shouty and throwing punches (most not landing anywhere as they fall over which mid throw). I wonder if the person serving the fuel for the fights from behind the bar should be stamping the backs of their hands to show how many PYNZE they’ve had… Yeah c’mon then!
