The first day of the Bradley Stoke Festival is being hailed as a success after several hundred people attended a pre-school picnic and coffee morning.
Professor Panic, Mr Brown’s Pig and Steve the Bubbleman entertained the children who were also able to enjoy a real fire engine.
A spokesperson for organisers, Bradley Stoke Town Council, said: “Its been a really good start, and the kids loved having their photos taken in the fire engine.”
Saturday’s action takes place at the Jubilee Centre with music and dance on the main stage and football action with Sir Geoff Hurst.
