A man has been arrested following an incident which saw a woman injured and three cars damaged in Bradley Stoke on Sunday.

Police say they were called in the early hours of Sunday to “a male [who] could be heard behaving in a loud and abusive manner in the street”.

Three cars, two Vauxhalls and a Subaru, were then damaged on Stevens Walk.

A short time later a 19-year-old woman was assaulted and suffered scratches to her arm.

A man, also aged 19, was arrested by police in connection with both incidents and is currently on bail.

Officers have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
