
Gary Hope from Severn AC won Sunday’s Bradley Stoke 10k race with an unofficial time of 33m 37s.
Around 380 runners took part in the race which started and finished at the Jubilee Centre.
Andrew Harrison from Moti came second and Peter Maton came third in the men’s race.
Joanna Heuze from Village Vipers won the women’s race with Elizabeth Smith second and Naomi Eaton third.

Applications have opened for the annual 10k run in Bradley Stoke which forms part of the annual town festival.
The event will see up to 300 runners following the course around Bradley Stoke and the Three Brooks Nature Reserve.
The event, organised by Sole Sisters and sponsored by Moti, will take place on Sunday, 14 June 2009 from 10am.
It is open to anybody over the age of 16 – entry costs £10 for affiliated runners and £12 for those who are not affiliated.
Parking, refreshments, toilets and showers are available on the day and finishers will each get a t-shirt.

The full results for the Bradley Stoke 2008 10k race have been posted on the Sole Sisters website with a full list of competitors’ finishing times.

The race was won by Team Bath AC runner Brian Penny with a finishing time of 35m 20s – Trinty Booth finished first for the women with a time of 44m 09s.
Don’t forget, The Bradley Stoke Examiner has posted almost 500 photographs from the race which you can view.
Hundreds of you have already downloaded the pictures with this website seeing more than ten times its usual level of traffic for Sunday and Monday.

Brian Penny (pictured) won the Bradley Stoke 10k race on Sunday with a time of 35m 20s on another glorious day for the town’s festival.

Phil Westlake and Stephen Powell came in second and third in the men’s race.
Meanwhile Trinity Booth picked up first place in the women’s field with a time of 44m 09s.

Evita Gonzalez and Claire Lewin picked up second and third place.

Bradley Stoke’s 10k race is to be staged again this year on Sunday, 8 June 2008 – the last day of this year’s town festival.
The course will be the same as 2007 which will see runners start from near Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre on a route taking in much of the Three Brooks Nature Reserve.
The finish line will be at the Jubilee Centre on Savages Wood Road.
If you’re interested in taking part it costs £7 for affiliated runners, £9 for unaffiliated and £10 on the day.
