The next meeting of the Bradley Stoke Small Business Forum will focus on whether your business listens to its customers.
Nick Wood of Confidential Counselling will show how listening skills can benefit your business.
The meeting will also discuss objectives for the group for 2008 and feature time to network with other Bradley Stoke business people.
The meeting takes place on Monday, 14 January from 6.30pm at Pitman Training Centre, Pear Tree Road.

Bradley Stoke mayor, Julian Barge, is to attend the Bradley Stoke Business Forum on Monday, 10 September.
The meeting will centre on how to extend and market the group to the wider community.
The meeting takes place at the Pitman Training Centre, Peartree Avenue, starting at 6.30pm.

The next Bradley Stoke Small Business Forum will be held on 13th August, it has been announced.
The agenda shows the forum opening with the traditional welcome, followed by feedback on marketing the group.
There’s a talk on the 60-second sales pitch, and one by Jeremy Marchant, of Emotional Intelligence at Work.
His is titled: ‘How and why people drive you mad at work and how to turn it to your advantage’.
The meeting starts at 6.30pm at Pitman Training, Bradley Pavilions. A donation of £1 is being solicited.Â

Members of the Bradley Stoke Small Business Forum will get help to decide on their future directions at their next meeting.
Life coach Becky Hall from Focus:Future will give a talk to the group on Monday, 9 July 2007.
Becky is one of a number of guests who have been invited to give talks.
Jeremy Marchant from Emotional Intelligance at Work will talk about how and why people drive you mad at work and how to turn it to your advantage in August.
Julie Stenning of Southern Brooks Community Partnership is slated for the October meeting where she will talk about partnerships between businesses and the voluntary sector.

The Bradley Stoke Small Business Forum’s website has launched providing information and detailing the aims of the group.
The forum, made up of entrepreneurs from the town, meets every month allowing members to build contacts and share knowledge.
The website features membership information, events and news from the forum and an a to z of members.
The next meeting is on Monday, 13 August 2007 at the Pitman Training Centre on Pear Tree Road.

Attendees at the Bradley Stoke Small Business Forum’s third meeting were given a fascinating insight into accounting and tax.
Kath Docherty from local firm C & M Services answered a wide range of questions on sole trading and limited companies.
Delegates also discussed progress on a new website for the group.
The next meeting is planned for May 14 at the Pitman Training Centre in Pear Tree Road.

If you are a local trader or business person in Bradley Stoke then don’t forget the business forum meeting on Monday.
The fledgling group, which aims to promote local firms, is now on to its third meeting.
Discussions are expected to include talk of the group’s new website, due to be brought online shortly.
