Post Office “D-Day” for Bristol as review due

Although at this point we have no idea if Bradley Stoke or Stoke Gifford’s Post Offices are under threat, it’s worth noting that the Bristol area review is out on Tuesday.
The Post Office has been conducting a national review of its over-the-counter provision since October 2007.

Between all the controversy surrounding the Bus Rapid Transit scheme in Bristol it has almost gone unnoticed that Bradley Stoke could benefit from part of the proposal.

Teen in hospital after gang assault

A teenager is seriously ill in hospital after an assault on New Road, Stoke Gifford, on Friday.
The boy was found after police were called to reports of a group attacking several others at 11.15pm.
Two teens were taken to nearby Frenchay Hospital - a 15-year-old remains there with serious injuries.
